NENUPHAR at “The Future of Livestock Farming: Innovation and Sustainability in Projects for the Sector” at FIGAN 2025

On March 27, 2025, at FIGAN 2025, the “CAMPAG Summit: The Future of Livestock Farming: Innovation and Sustainability in Projects for the Sector” was held at the CAMPAG Cluster stand, organized by the Clúster Aragonés de los Medios de Producción Agrícolas y Ganaderos. This event focused on showcasing various innovative projects that aim to enhance sustainability and drive technological progress within the livestock sector, both at European and national levels.

During this session, Paula de la Sen, researcher at CIRCE, presented the NENUPHAR project, highlighting its contributions to nutrient recovery and sustainable waste management within the livestock industry. The event also covered a range of other initiatives aimed at addressing critical challenges in livestock farming, including nutrient imbalances, the environmental impact of agricultural practices, and solutions for waste valorization.
