Uniting expertise for a circular future
Are fertilizers too expensive and you are looking for alternative soultions?
Would you like to avoid industrial wastewater entering the environment?
Are you concerned about river pollution?
Would you like to build relationships in the field of circular nutrient management?
Who we are?
NENUPHAR, a Horizon Europe project, is committed to delivering innovative governance models to tackle nutrient pollution and boost nutrient recycling, benefiting people’s health, natural ecosystems and farmers’ livelihoods!
In addition to the project’s regional clusters, NENUPHAR is creating a ‘Multiplier Group’ known as the Community of Interest (CoI) to add critical mass beyond the consortium by bringing additional stakeholders from non-participant regions, fostering a continuous dialogue over time between the consortium and other actors from regions not directly covered by NENUPHAR.
Who is the CoI for?
The NENUPHAR CoI aims to connect the large network of stakeholders to foster learning, encourage collaboration, and offer an opportunity for creative problem-solving and innovation connection with nutrient management.
For farmers, irrigation communities, researchers, policy makers, fertilizer producers, waste managers, civil society, waste and wastewater managers, ecosystem preservation entities, technical experts, professional organizations, the NENUPHAR CoI could serve as a valuable resource.

Why should you participate?
Members of NENUPHAR’s CoI are informed regularly about the milestones and achievements of NENUPHAR and get access to our collection of expert research, blogs, articles and commentary about nutrient management. It is the place to learn first-hand diverse experiences and solutions about nutrient management in a simple and user-friendly way. The CoI is also an excellent place to build business relationships among stakeholders and the inputs from others and the connections established within the CoI will favour discussions around unique niche experiences.
How do we keep in touch?
By registering to the CoI, you will automatically receive our newsletter. Basically, we will keep in touch via email, but you will get invitations to virtual conferences, workshops, cross-visits to our demo regions and in-person conferences on sustainable nutrient management.
What topics will we cover?
The topics will include the governance structures enabling N-P circular management, the financial instruments needed to improve N-P management, the social acceptance and public awareness of alternative technologies, the indicators for monitoring alternative technologies, and any issue that CoI members are interested in.
