During the prestigious Science and Technology Week 2025, the NENUPHAR project was actively promoted at the 32nd Poster Day and Open Day international conference. This event, held on November 12th at the Institute of Hydrology of the Slovak Academy of Sciences in Bratislava, Slovakia, gathered a diverse group of participants from various countries including Hungary, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Iran, and Pakistan.

Assoc. Prof. Elena Aydin from the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra (SUA) represented the NENUPHAR project at this significant scientific gathering. After attending insightful plenary lectures, Assoc. Prof. Aydin engaged directly with the audience during the lively poster session.
She effectively communicated the core objectives of the NENUPHAR project: to develop competitive fertilizers through the recovery of nitrogen and phosphorus from waste streams, thereby improving nutrient management and recycling, and fostering cleaner soil, air, and water systems. The project’s mission resonated with attendees, leading to interesting discussions and valuable networking opportunities.

The NENUPHAR project’s presence was further reinforced through informative project leaflets, which provided tangible details about its innovative solutions. This international platform proved to be an excellent opportunity to introduce NENUPHAR to new audiences and potentially expand our Community of Interest, particularly engaging researchers and stakeholders from countries such as Pakistan and the Czech Republic, who showed keen interest in the project’s outcomes.
This active participation continues to strengthen NENUPHAR’s profile within the international scientific community and supports our mission to drive sustainable nutrient management globally.
