Project Nenuphar showcased at Slovakia’s Premier Agricultural Event
Key takeaways from our successful participation at the National Field Days 2026 in Dolná Krupá, Slovakia.
Our project, Nenuphar, was successfully promoted at the National Field Days 2026, the country’s largest open-air agricultural exhibition. This key event, held from June 9-10 June, 2026, brought together over 15,000 visitors, including prominent figures from the agricultural and food processing sectors. The event was organized by Profi Press SK, the publishing house of Roľnícke noviny (Farming News), under the patronage of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of the Slovak Republic, with the Slovak University of Agriculture (SUA) in Nitra and University Farm (SUA-UF) as a co-organizers.
This event provided a crucial platform to enhance the visibility of the NENUPHAR project. A Slovak-language roll-up explaining the project’s primary goals and the specific roles of SUA and its University Farm was a key feature at the SUA stand. This facilitated direct engagement with a broad audience.
The National Field Days proved to be a highly effective venue for promoting the NENUPHAR project, allowing for direct interaction with key industry players, policymakers, and the general public. The extensive program, which included demonstrations of new agricultural equipment, field trials, and expert discussions, created a dynamic environment for showcasing our project’s innovative approach.
Next year the event will be organized by University Farm and Slovak University of Agriculture (SUA-UF and SUA) in Oponice on 8. and 9. June 2027. Project NENUPHAR will be surely there.
